2009 Grand Prize Winner

Brandon won the Grand Prize at the BMW Shorties 2009 for his insightful, one-shot take on a long conversation with an insane man in “Conversations with a Mad Man”. The success of his short film led him to be selected as one of the exclusive filmmakers invited to the Asian Film Academy (Busan Film Festival, Korea) as well as the prestigious Golden Horse Academy (Golden Horse Film Festival, Taiwan) where he was mentored by film masters such as Ang Lee, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, John Woo, Tsai Ming-Liang, Mark Lee and Kurosawa Kiyoshi.

Brandon is currently a TV Commercial Film Director at BLMK Studio, curating commercials throughout the Southeast Asian region for brands such as Mazda, Palmolive Naturals and Ensure.
